• The Florida Department of Education (DOE) announced DOE EO-05 on June 11, 2020, which provides students with opportunities to meet eligibility requirements for the Bright Futures Scholarship by (1) providing families and students with needed flexibility to satisfy volunteer hour requirements, and (2) extending the testing deadline, giving students more time to meet the minimum score eligibility requirements of the scholarship. The new deadline allows students to take the ACT, SAT, and PERT through July 31, 2020, allowing one extra month to complete the exam. Additional information is being sent to district and private school staff and senior students to provide further guidance.
